Rightracks Roadshow
The Rightracks project aims to develop innovative strategies, interventions and solutions to the casualty problem on the county's rural road network.
The next Rightracks roadshow will take place in Brackley on Wednesday 29 July, 10.30am-2.30pm, on the piazza outside the Town Hall, Brackley.
Police Van visit
The Northamptonshire Police will have their mobile van in the village from 10:30-12:30 on the 29th July. Location to be advised once we know.
16/07/09 Car theft
This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in Kings Sutton, Croughton and surrounding villages.
Please be aware that a vehicle parked in The Chestnuts, Hinton-in-the-Hedges had the rear tyre stolen. Sometime between 22:00 Monday 13 July and 07:00 Tuesday 14 July an offender jacked up the vehicle in order to remove the rear tyre and wheel. The vehicle was then left on bricks.

Your local Safer Community Team hold regular meetings to discuss locally identified priorities and your concerns. 15/07/09 Break-Ins
This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in Kings Sutton, Croughton and the surrounding villages.
Please be aware that a vehicle in Roundtown, Aynho was broken in to sometime between 20:00 on Monday 13 July and 08:30 Tuesday 14 July.
The offenders smashed the nearside, front quarter light, reached in and removed items from within the vehicle.
Residents are reminded to remove all valuables from vehicles, rather than hide them in the glove box or boot. Remember to activate any alarm systems and use steering locks where fitted. Parking in well-lit areas is recommended if you are unable to secure your vehicle in a garage.

There was also a break-in in Blacksmiths Hill - nothing was taken as the intruders were disturbed.
08/07/09 Recovered Bikes (Milton Keynes)
This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to residents living in the vicinity of Milton Keynes on behalf of Thames Valley police.
Police in Milton Keynes are trying to trace the owners of four mountain bikes, which they believe were stolen.
The cycles were recovered by police on 27 May and may have been taken from Milton Keynes Railway Station.
The makes of the bikes recovered are:
- Grand 2000 Mountain Bike
- XT950 Mountain Bike
- Russian Mountain Bike
- AJS/02 Summit Bike
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have lost a bike of one of these makes around 27 May. Anyone who comes forward to claim the bikes will be asked a number of questions to ensure they are the legal owner.

08/07/09 Burglary & Theft
This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to residents in Kings Sutton, Croughton and the surrounding villages.
Please be aware of two incidents that have recently occurred in your area.
The first took place sometime between 19:00 Monday 6 July and 07:00 Tuesday 7 July in Croughton. In this incident the offenders broke in to a garden shed by unscrewing the hinges. The shed was entered and items removed from within. The offenders also broke in to a vehicle on the driveway by forcing the rear door and prising out the barrel lock. The door and paintwork were damaged.
The second incident took place in Portway Crescent sometime between 19:30 Monday 6 July and 09:00 Tuesday 7 July. In this incident the rear doors were pulled open, and items were removed from within.
Residents are reminded to remove all valuables from vehicles, rather than hide them in the glove box or boot. Remember to activate any alarm systems and use steering locks where fitted. Parking in well-lit areas is recommended if you are unable to secure your vehicle in a garage.
