Aynho History - Timeline
The timeline is intended to be a living, growing list of events in Aynho's history. The original information was gleaned from a number of sources, including Nicholas Cooper's excellent history of the village now, unfortunately, out of print and the guides produced by the children of Aynho C.E. School. However, much of Aynho's early history is vague and the various sources are contradictory. It is often possible to find quite different dates for the same event quoted in different sources. Please feel free to submit amendments or additions to the timeline to the webmaster as well as any questions, although we can't guarantee always to provide an answer.
