9/7/10 Speed Checks

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police on behalf of the Brackley Rural Safer Community Team (SCT).

Following the last Community Panel Meeting held for the Brackley Rural Safer Community Team, speeding in Halse Village, Charlton Road Aynho, Banbury Road Aynho and Lime Avenue Eydon was identified as one of community's priorities.

Today officers from your Safer Community Team carried out a number of speed checks in Halse and Aynho, 2 drivers were issued with endorsable fixed penalty notices and 3 drivers were verbally warned in relation to speeding.

The Safer Community Team is committed to deterring and preventing speeding in these locations and further checks will be carried out over the next few weeks.
